COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course continues the principles of inductive Bible study: observation, interpretation, and

capabilities in this necessary skill set. Students will focus on the New Testament book of
Philippians. Over the ten weeks of classes, students will utilize inductive bible
techniques to gain a better understanding of Philippians by reading the text with a

the text before they attempt to interpret and determine the nuggets of eternal principles
within the scripture. Additionally, the student will come to understand how to think
deeply about the themes and concerns of scripture. Finally, the student will learn how to
apply scripture to the circumstances of life.
